November 24th - Meet Your Meat @ Casa Venado

Learn the craft of Wild Game Butchery and use your new skills to process deer into food for fellow Texans. The clinic will take place at Casa Venado - The San Antonio Food Bank’s on-site Wild Game Processing facility. 

A full 9am-5pm day! We will be working our way through deer from skinning, to carcass breakdown, and into specialty cuts. After a delicious lunch catered by a Wild Game Chef, you will take your new skills and apply them while processing deer for the food bank. The day will also include a classroom round table discussion with a guest speaker.

The best way to become proficient at any skill is to practice it. This unique opportunity to practice with Wild Game is my honor to bring to life. This clinic aims to edify and empower you while supporting a necessary pillar of our Texas community.

The San Antonio Food Bank serves 29 counties in Southwest Texas and provides supplies to food banks all over our great state. A portion of your tickets will be donated back to the food bank.
